Parents and kids will have over two hours to explore the Fun Factory and take part in a variety of interactive stations designed to educate, inspire, and empower. Each station will focus on a different aspect of healthy eating and food literacy, from nutrition games to talks with local experts. Reimagined to be more than just an afternoon of fun, this experience is a meaningful opportunity for families to learn practical skills, connect with their community, and discover how small, everyday food choices can make a big difference.

Explore Our Interactive Stations

STATION ONE: School Lunch Packing Game

Race to pack a school lunch that matches the picture using play foods, containers, and lunch bags.

STATION TWO: Food Sorting Game

Learn about the Canada Food Guide categories and race to sort food into the correct baskets.

STATION THREE: Empathy & Food Insecurity

Join Jackie Ralph of CAMH for a discussion on empathy for others regarding school lunches and food insecurity.

STATION FOUR: Creative Zone

Get creative with branded colouring sheets and decorate lunch notes and bags for those in need.

STATION FIVE: Grocery Shopping Game

Grab a shopping list and cart, and shop for "healthy foods" among the "unhealthy foods" on our play shelves.

Collect Stickers & Win!

As families make their way through the event, they'll receive a fun, food-themed sticker at each sponsored station. Collect all five stickers to be entered into a draw for a chance to win a special, event-branded prize pack!

PLUS! All participants will receive a branded United We Lunch brown bag packed with goodies to continue the conversation at home.
