Reduce the fat at the next Mexican fiesta with Norpro's tortilla bowl makers. these tortilla bakers quickly crisp tortillas into a shell that's ideal for serving taco salads, salsa, or dip. They're simple to use: just press a tortilla into a baker, pushing it into the curves, and then bake it for 8 to 10 minutes. After a five-minute cool-down period, the now-crisp tortilla can be stuffed with beans, meat, lettuce, cheese, chiles, and whatever else you want. The 2-1/4-inch-deep by 8-1/2-inch-wide bakers can also be used for brioche (there's a good recipe on the box) and other breads, desserts, and molded salads. Because the tortilla bakers have a nonstick coating, they should not be used with metal utensils, and should be washed by hand.
